We’re here in Nicaragua right now, enjoying the beautiful beach in San Juan Del Sur.

In the last 16 months, we’ve traveled to 15 different countries while running our business remotely.  A few years ago, this dream seemed like just that – a dream so far removed from reality, we didn’t actually expect it to come true!

Yet it did come true, and faster than we expected.

So what’s the secret? Is it our business idea? Is it our productivity? Those elements play a part, but the real truth is that we started to touch our dreams when we focused on one thing, and one thing alone: Creating the most amount of freedom in our lives as we possibly could.

But we’re not the only ones.

Natalie Sisson is a pioneer in the lifestyle design and remote business space.  She’s the original “Suitcase Entrepreneur,” someone who has an endless supply of the ultimate resource: FREEDOM.

Whether your dream is white sand beaches or spending more time hanging out on your deck, designing a life filled with personal freedom is how you’ll get there.  That’s why I’ve been a longtime admirer of Natalie Sisson, and why I asked her to speak at this year’s Lifehack Summit.  Her bestselling book The Suitcase Entrepreneur will answer all of your questions about building a lifestyle business that gives you more time, money and freedom and makes you ask questions about what’s really important in life that you should be pursuing.

If you’ve been looking for a change, a new direction, a kick in the butt, then check out Natalie’s book online and in book stores throughout North America. Plus you’ll get her BONUS free companion course.

Here are 3 major ideas you’ll learn from her book that had me saying “HECK yeah!” as I swung in my hammock.

Not a bad place for Demir to take a meeting.

STARTING A BUSINESS IS ACTUALLY STRAIGHTFORWARD IF YOU KNOW HOW TO PACKAGE YOUR SKILLS

Just Google “how to start my own business” and you’ll see thousands of search results, each leading to extraordinarily helpful sites that can tell you step-by-step how to do it.  The “how-to” element is straightforward.  It’s the fear of failure, the risk of inconsistent cash flow, and not knowing how to position yourself in the marketplace that trips new entrepreneurs up.

The biggest reason why people do not know what they really want to do is that they cannot figure out their sweet spot. Your sweet spot is the intersection between what you love to do, what you are good at doing and what people will pay you for. – Natalie Sisson, The Suitcase Entrepreneur

Natalie shares her wealth of knowledge from 6+ years being a digital nomad and building a 6 figure business while traveling to over 70 countries.  Her real life tactics and tools lay out the road map so you can feel confident in making the big leap.

DESIGNING YOUR LIFE FROM THE GROUND UP IS BECOMING EASIER THAN EVER

Demir and I remark frequently about how much easier it was to create a freedom lifestyle than we thought it would be. That’s because in many ways, the world is changing and evolving.  Non-traditional career paths are becoming more common. Freelancers now make up 35% of U.S. workers, according to the “Freelancing in America: 2016” survey released by the Freelancers Union.  And the numbers continue to grow.

You have the right to live your life how you want to, without sitting in endless meetings, getting stuck in long commutes and having to be in one location in order to run a successful business and ultimately to enjoy your life. – Natalie Sisson, The Suitcase Entrepreneur

Natalie has worked with hundreds of clients from ALL walks of life and coached them through the transition.  The one thing they all have in common is a true commitment to the new lifestyle they want to create.  Thanks to the incredible internet and software we have at our disposal, designing an out-of-the-box custom solution is a reality for thousands of workers.

BUILDING A SOLID SET OF SYSTEMS CAN GET YOU MORE TIME, MONEY, AND INDEPENDENCE

My Systems Mastery students can attest – I’m a real systems nerd.  The biggest difference between having a business and having a job is SYSTEMS that can run in your absence.  Systems are indispensable in creating a business that runs consistently without you micromanaging every task.

Natalie beats this same drum.  In fact, she recently took 3 months away from her business entirely for a “sabbatical.” How cool is that!? If freedom is your dream, then systems are a crucial piece that get you there.  You don’t want to simply create a new job for yourself.  You want to create a business that can run without you!

Outsourcing is key and, frankly, I’m baffled as to why more small business owners, or even large firms, are not taking advantage of it. – Natalie Sisson, The Suitcase Entrepreneur
