Chris Daniels is the Director of the Slapstick Festival – a one-of-a-kind festival that emphasizes silent and visual comedy.

The festival has doubled in size in the last 4 years. This success was great for business, but overwhelming for Chris. He was exhausted, his work started suffering, and he felt like his output wasn’t as rich as it once was, and he knew something needed to change.

That’s when he joined the bootcamp. He was attracted to that idea of efficiency – doing the same amount of work in less time, and creating time to have fun in his life. Slapstick Festival was a hobby that grew into a career, and he didn’t have the proper training to enjoy the success that it was bringing.

“My life has been exponentially better since joining the bootcamp. It went beyond my expectations! Everything has changed for me. I feel like i got my family back, I’m more connected to my wife and kids than ever. I feel more available – like I’ve freed up space in my mind that allows me to be truly present and focused at work. And I’m ENJOYING it again – which is huge. I’ve become the best me that I’ve never before been able to access.”

Chris’s suggestion for anyone thinking of joining? If you can create the space to do it, go all in.

“I worked really hard. It’s a tough course. But it works if you truly work it. Everything stacks on top of each other, and it never feels overwhelming. In fact, quite the opposite – you learn how to handle overwhelm, pre-plan and truly switch off. So many things that once took so much effort just don’t anymore.
